About this policy
This policy is being prepared for TrimVeio, its Android and iOS video-editing apps, and this website. It explains the difference between media you edit on your device and information used by account, purchase and online features.
Features and data handling can differ between Android, iOS and individual app versions. The sections about optional features apply to the features available in your app version. Online inputs depend on the operation you choose. Automatic technical or security processing also depends on release configuration and is part of the verification described below.
Responsible operator
The legal person or company responsible for TrimVeio, its country of establishment and its monitored privacy contact are awaiting confirmation.
Information TrimVeio handles
The following categories reflect the app functions reviewed for this draft. Access to a file on your device is different from sending that file to an online service.
| Category | Examples | Purpose and handling |
|---|---|---|
| Media you select | Photos, video, audio and recordings you choose for an edit. | Import, preview, edit and export. Selected audio can also be transmitted when you choose an enabled online processing tool. |
| Project files | Editing decisions, text, captions, thumbnails, previews and temporary working files. | Save and reopen your work, render previews and produce exports. Core project storage in the reviewed apps is local. |
| Account and profile | Account identifier, email address, display name, verification status, optional profile photo and saved marketing preference. | Sign in, maintain your profile and associate enabled services with your account. The reviewed Android account features use Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore. |
| Online tool inputs | Selected audio, scripts, caption text, prompts, chat history, language and voice choices, and job-related information. | Carry out the online operation you request, such as dubbing, narration, translation or AI generation. These operations involve processing outside your device. |
| Purchase and credit records | Customer and transaction identifiers, purchase receipts, products, purchase history and credit balances. | Process and verify purchases, grant credits and maintain purchase-related access where these features are enabled. |
| Operational information | Operation identifiers, status and error codes, timing and file-size information. | Operate and diagnose app features. The final release's remote logging, device identifiers, analytics and crash-reporting settings still require verification. |
Local editing and online tools
Editing on your device
Core editing uses the media you select and local project files. This does not mean that every TrimVeio feature is offline or that no data ever leaves your device. Device backups and cloud photo libraries may also be managed separately by your operating system.
When you choose an online feature
Online tools can send the content needed for your request to TrimVeio's service infrastructure and the providers that perform the operation. Depending on the enabled tool, that content can include selected audio for dubbing or captions, text for narration or translation, and prompts or conversation history for AI features.
Opening a photo or video for local editing is a different operation from submitting content to a cloud tool. Before an online submission, the app's feature-specific disclosure and any required permission should explain what is sent and who processes it.
Online service details under review
The provider chain used by each released feature, service locations, provider retention and any use for model training must be confirmed before this policy takes effect.
Device permissions
- Photos, videos and audio: used to find or import the media you select or otherwise authorize through your device's permission controls.
- Microphone: used for a recording you start, where voice recording is available.
- Saving and exporting: output files are written to the destination supported by your app version and operating system.
You can review and change TrimVeio's permissions in your device settings. Limiting a permission may prevent the related feature from working. Revoking access does not automatically remove copies already included in a project or information already submitted to an online service.
On iOS, importing a selected photo-library item can involve retrieving that item from iCloud through Apple's photo services. The final Android permission manifest and the final iOS privacy declarations still need a release-level review.
Service providers and sharing
Data handling depends on the service you use. The reviewed Android and backend source includes the following integrations:
- Google / Firebase: account authentication, profile and service records, and backend functions. App integrity checks depend on release configuration.
- RevenueCat and the applicable app store: customer and transaction identifiers, product information and purchase records used to verify purchases and grant the associated access or credits.
- ElevenLabs: selected audio for captions or dubbing, and text with voice or language choices for narration and speech generation.
- Google Gemini: transcript segments, target language and related instructions for dubbing translation.
- DeepSeek: messages, conversation history or story instructions for the relevant AI chat and planning tools.
- fal: prompts and generation options for the relevant image and video tools.
- Pixabay: stock-image search queries derived from a story plan, to find matching stock results.
These integrations were found in historical source snapshots and feature patches. This does not establish which services are enabled in the current store release. The final provider list must match the deployed backend, enabled features and complete SDK inventory.
When you export and share a file through another app or service, that destination handles the shared file under its own terms and privacy policy.
Advertising, tracking, analytics, crash reporting, sale or other secondary use of data have not been fully verified for the release.
Purchases and credits
Where a purchase or credit feature is enabled, the app store and purchase service process the transaction. TrimVeio's account services can associate purchase identifiers, receipts, product information and credit balances with your account to provide the purchased access.
Purchase processing is separate from editing a local project. The final policy must identify the live purchase providers and explain which records are retained for accounting, support or other applicable requirements.
Removing the app, deleting a project or signing out does not necessarily cancel a store-managed purchase or subscription. If recurring subscriptions are offered, their actual cancellation instructions must be provided with those products.
Retention and deletion
Projects and files on your device
Saved projects remain in app storage until they are removed through the relevant app or device controls. Temporary files and caches may be removed automatically by the app or operating system. Where a Recently Deleted area is provided, moving a project there is not permanent deletion. Use its permanent-delete control when you intend to remove that retained project copy.
Deleting a project does not necessarily remove original media, exported files, copies shared with another service or copies held in device backups. Those copies must be managed through their respective locations.
Online content and account records
Account profiles, uploaded content, generated results, job records, purchases, service logs and backups can have different retention needs. Job-expiry and cleanup logic exists in the reviewed backend source, but the deployed retention schedule, successful cleanup and deletion exceptions are not yet confirmed.
Deletion from TrimVeio's infrastructure and retention by a processing provider are separate matters. The final schedule must cover both, together with billing records, logs and backups. Local temporary-file cleanup does not establish that online copies have been erased.
Account deletion
Signing out is not account deletion. Uninstalling TrimVeio does not establish that remote account information has been erased.
Account-deletion process not yet confirmed
A working account-deletion request route and its server-side cleanup have not been verified for this release. This page does not currently submit or process deletion requests. The final policy must provide the real route, explain the information deleted or retained, and state the applicable handling time.
Your choices and requests
- Control access to your media and microphone through your device settings.
- Choose which content to include in a project and which content to submit to an available online tool.
- Use the app's project-management and permanent-delete controls where provided.
- Review the profile and marketing-preference controls available in your version.
- Manage store purchases and any subscriptions through the relevant store account.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability or withdrawal of consent. The final policy must identify the responsible operator and a usable way to exercise applicable rights.
The privacy contact and request procedure are awaiting confirmation. Do not send sensitive documents or account credentials to an unverified address.
Security and international processing
The reviewed clients use HTTPS service routes for the online operations described above. Security also depends on the deployed backend, provider settings, access controls, your device and the protection of your account.
Online services may process information in countries different from your own. The actual service locations, relevant safeguards and server-side security measures must be confirmed for the final release.
The final policy will describe the verified safeguards used for the released service.
Children and age eligibility
TrimVeio's intended age group, supported markets and any child-specific access or consent arrangements have not yet been finalized for this policy.
Before launch, the operator must establish the actual audience and any required parental-consent or child-privacy arrangements, and ensure that the app, store declarations and this section agree.
This website
The website remembers an explicitly selected language and motion preference in your browser's local storage. You can reset those preferences by clearing this site's browser data. These preferences are separate from your TrimVeio app account.
The editing demonstration uses bundled sample images. Its controls do not upload your own media. The website's own scripts currently do not load advertising or analytics services.
Hosting and network services can process ordinary connection and request information to deliver and protect a website. The final production host, access controls, service logs and retention settings must be included in the release review; a statement about this page's scripts does not describe every hosting-layer activity.
